Plan the week
People, allergies and tastes
On the Household page, you add the people who eat with you and note anything they can’t or don’t want to eat. Each dinner is planned for the people at your table. The Household page helps you keep track of who they are, and what they can’t or won’t eat.An allergy appears as a card for you to confirm before Bryti saves it, unless you have chosen Apply everything automatically.
People
Add person asks for a name, year of birth, and portion size: Half portion, Normal, or Big eater. Bryti calculates the age from the year but never stores it. If you do not enter a year of birth, the person is counted as an adult.Usually eats dinner at home on the card shows if the person is included every day. If someone is rarely home for dinner, turn this off. When they are home, you can add them with one tap.Under “…” on the card, you can Edit or Remove a person. Bryti will ask for confirmation and show what is removed with them. Already planned dinners will still include them.Worth knowingNutrition targets on a person’s card are the daily targets Bryti uses to check dinners. If you leave these fields empty, Bryti uses Helsedirektoratet’s standard values for that age. Only fill them in if you have a specific reason, such as advice from a doctor.
Allergies and restrictions
- Tap Add restriction and choose whether it is for one person or for Whole household.
- Select the type. Allergy and Intolerance are for a specific food or category. Dietary pattern includes options like halal, vegetarian, or no pork. Avoidance is for anything else.
- Enter the foods as chips. You can add several at once. Bryti suggests common allergens, and each food appears in its own row.
- Choose how strict the restriction should be: Never serve or Avoid when possible. Allergies are always set to strict.
An explicit yes
Allergies and breastfeeding are considered health data. The first time you add either for a person, a card explains why Bryti is asking. You then answer with Yes, store health data or Not now.If you do not give consent, Bryti does not store anything, and the field remains unchanged. You give your consent for one person at a time. In Settings under Your data, there is a switch for each person, showing the date and the wording you agreed to.If you turn a switch off, you will first see what will be deleted. After that, Bryti deletes those fields. If you tell Bryti in the chat instead, it does not store anything until you have given consent. Bryti explains why and directs you to that person’s card here.Tastes
With Add taste, you can note what one person or the whole household thinks about an ingredient, a dish, or a way of cooking. Tap the chip to switch between Likes, Dislikes, and Can't stand.Tastes influence the plan slightly but never rule anything out. What Bryti learns from past dinners is kept separate, marked as learned, and you can remove it like any other entry. In the chat
Jakob can’t have nuts
Ola loves fish soup
NoteOnly adults can make changes to people, allergies, and tastes. A Junior can view the lists but does not see the buttons.
