Report a problem

This guide explains how to report something that isn’t working and what information is included with your report.

You’ll find Report a problem under About in the settings. If a screen stops working, you’ll see Report this. The form is short, and you can review everything it sends.

Sending a report

In the What went wrong? field, describe what you expected to happen and what actually happened.
Adding a Screenshot is optional. On your phone, it shows the screen as it looked when you tapped the button. On the web, you can paste, drag in, or select an image up to 5 MB.
Look at Sent along with it. It shows the build, your phone or browser, the screen you were on, your ID and your household’s ID, and the last failed requests. If the app has reported an error, its reference is there too. It never lists your name or email.
Tap Send report. You’ll get a reference number to keep. If we need more information, we’ll contact you at your account’s email address.

NoteIf your report can’t be sent, for example if you’re offline, your message is saved. You can send it again with one tap.

Shake the phone

You don’t need to open settings if something goes wrong. Just shake your phone anywhere, and Bryti will ask: Did something go wrong here?Nothing is captured or sent until you respond. Report it takes a screenshot of your current screen and opens Report a problem, showing that screen’s name under Sent along with it.No keeps everything unchanged. To turn off the shake feature, go to Shake to report under About in the settings.This setting only affects this phone. The app only detects shaking when it’s open, and never when Reduce Motion is turned on.

On the web: Shift + ?

On the web, press Shift and the question mark anywhere outside a text field. You’ll see the same question, and Report it opens the form with the page you were on.If you’re in a text field, pressing the question mark just types a question mark. Browsers can’t take screenshots of themselves, so you’ll need to add one manually.

Which build am I on?

At the bottom of the Settings page, you’ll find the app version, build, environment and a code for this release. Tap Copy version to copy these details if you need support.If Bryti gives a reply that’s wrong or unsafe, use Report this reply on that message. The report will only include that reply and your question, not the rest of your conversation.
